Frequently asked questions
How do I make only part of the video into a GIF?
Enter a start time and a duration in seconds in Options, for example start 5 and duration 3 to turn seconds 5 to 8 into a GIF.
How can I make the GIF smaller?
Use a lower width (320 or 480 px), a lower frame rate (10 fps) or a shorter clip. You can also run it through our GIF Compressor afterwards.
Does the GIF have sound?
No — the GIF format can't contain audio. If you need sound, keep the clip as MP4.
