Which images work best for tracing?
Simple, high-contrast images such as black logos, icons, text and line drawings. Photos don't trace well.
Why is my traced SVG black and white?
Trace mode creates single-color vector shapes. To keep colors, choose Embed mode, but note it's not a true vector.
What does the threshold do?
It decides which pixels become shape and which become background. Raise it to include lighter areas, or lower it for a cleaner outline.
